Features:
- Provides Stable Low Voltage DC Input For Continuous Rack Operation.
- Supports Hot-Swappable Installation Without Interrupting System Performance.
- Operates Reliably Across A Wide Temperature And Humidity Range.
The 114M5335-01 Low Voltage DC Power Input Module is designed to interface external 24 V DC power with the 3500/15 rack. Installed at the rear left side of the rack, it ensures secure and consistent power delivery to all modules, supporting a maximum rack current of 11.0 A. Its half-height form factor makes installation and access straightforward while saving valuable rack space.
This module is engineered for demanding industrial environments, functioning reliably from -30 °C to +65 °C (-22 °F to +150 °F) and storing safely between -40 °C and +85 °C (-40 °F to +185 °F). It can withstand high humidity levels up to 95% non-condensing, ensuring stable performance even under harsh conditions.
Designed to work in conjunction with the 114M5330-01 front power module, the 114M5335-01 allows maintenance or replacement without disrupting rack operation, as long as a second power supply is installed. Its robust design supports operational continuity and simplifies routine maintenance, helping ensure that machinery protection systems remain functional at all times.
The 114M5335-01 Bently Nevada Low Voltage DC PIM may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

- API 670 Standard: Fully compliant with the American Petroleum Institute's industry standards for mechanical protection systems, ensuring power supply isolation and high reliability.
- Hazardous Area Certification: ATEX/IECEx Zone 2 and North American (CSA) Class I, Div 2 certified, allowing safe operation in flammable and explosive gas environments.
- Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC): Complies with international EMC standards such as EN 61000-6-2/4, effectively resisting electromagnetic interference from high-power motors or frequency converters.
- Module Pairing Restrictions: Must be paired with the front-mounted 114M5330-01 (low-voltage DC power supply module); cannot be directly connected to an AC power supply module.
- Redundant System Compatibility: Supports the installation of two PIM modules within the same 3500 frame, achieving redundant input of dual DC power supplies and ensuring uninterrupted power supply in the event of a single power supply failure.
- Frame Versatility: Designed for all standard 3500 series frames (e.g., 3500/05), distributing power to all monitoring cards (e.g., vibration, displacement, key phase cards) via a backplane bus.
- 24V Instrument Power Integration: Widely used in automated factories or containerized cabinets that uniformly employ a 24Vdc bus power supply.
- Remote Oil and Gas Stations: In remote pumping stations or offshore platforms with unstable power supplies, connecting to battery banks or solar power systems as the main power source ensures the protection system is always online.
- High Reliability Redundancy Switching: In operating conditions requiring extremely high availability (e.g., critical compressor units), it serves as a second backup power interface, working in conjunction with the AC main power supply to achieve an AC+DC hybrid redundancy solution.
