Features:
- Provides Reliable Multi-Channel Temperature Monitoring For Industrial Applications
- Features Internal Terminations For Simplified Sensor Integration
- Offers Flexible Configuration For RTD And Thermocouple Inputs
The Bently Nevada 133819-01 3500/60 RTD/TC Non-Isolated I/O Module is designed to deliver accurate and reliable temperature monitoring for critical industrial systems. Equipped with six independent channels, it receives inputs from both RTD and Thermocouple sensors and processes these signals against user-programmed alarm setpoints using the 3500 Rack Configuration Software. Unlike the 3500/61 module, 133819-01 does not provide recorder outputs, which simplifies installation and makes it a cost-effective solution for standard monitoring requirements.
The internal termination design of 133819-01 integrates resistors directly into the module, eliminating the need for external terminal blocks. This design reduces installation time, saves rack space, and ensures signal integrity. Each channel can be individually configured as RTD, TC, or a mixture of both, providing flexibility for mixed sensor configurations, while maintaining high-fidelity measurements with an input impedance of 10 MΩ per lead and nominal power consumption of 7 Watts.
Operating reliably in temperatures from -30°C to +65°C (-22°F to +150°F) and withstanding storage temperatures from -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F), 133819-01 is well-suited for demanding industrial environments. The module occupies one full-height rear slot in the 3500 rack, and in Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) configurations, three adjacent 133819-01 modules work together using dual voting mechanisms to prevent single-point failures and ensure continuous, accurate temperature monitoring.
The 133819-01 Bently Nevada 3500/60 RTD/TC non-Isolated I/O Module may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

General
- Manufacturer GE / Bently Nevada
- Model 133819-01
- Condition New Original ready stock
- Product Family 136712-01,136711-02,136711-01

- Installation Location: This module must be installed on the back of the Bently Nevada 3500 frame and must be installed in pairs with the front 3500/60 temperature monitoring main module.
- Internal Termination Advantage: The 133819-01 uses an internal termination design, with the module itself containing resistors for terminating sensor inputs. This allows field wiring to be directly connected to the module, eliminating the need for external terminal blocks (ETBs), saving cabinet space and wiring costs.
- Hot-Swap Support: Supports plugging and unplugging while the system is powered on, but it is recommended to back up the frame configuration before replacement.
- Upgrade/Configuration: Software Configuration: Sensor type (RTD or TC), range, and alarm point must be set via the 3500 Rack Configuration Software. TMR Upgrade: For Triple Module Redundancy (TMR) configuration, temperature monitors must be installed in groups of three adjacent to ensure accuracy and avoid single points of failure.
- Humidity Range: Up to 95% relative humidity, non-condensing.
- Hazardous Area Certification: Complies with Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D certification standards. Complies with ATEX/IECEx (Ex nA nC ic IIC T4 Gc) standards, suitable for Zone 2 hazardous environments.
- Machinery Protection and Monitoring: Primarily used for monitoring bearing temperature, stator winding temperature, or process medium temperature in rotating machinery (such as compressors, turbines, pumps, and generators).
- Hybrid Sensor Acquisition: Supports non-isolated hybrid configurations, suitable for complex scenarios requiring simultaneous monitoring of thermocouples (TC) and thermal resistance (RTD) within the same frame.
- Cost-Sensitive Installation: Due to its non-isolated nature, this module is more compact and cost-effective than isolated modules. Suitable for industrial environments with good grounding isolation at the sensor end or minimal electrical interference.
- System integration: Data is typically transmitted to the System 1 software platform for trend analysis and predictive maintenance, identifying bearing wear or cooling system failures through temperature changes.
