- Treat the device as a contact LVDT rather than a speed sensor
- Center the mechanical linkage so usable travel remains in both directions
- Use a compatible 5 Vrms carrier interface and preserve channel scaling
Emerson PR9350-02 is a contact LVDT transducer for direct linear displacement measurement; it is not a speed or trigger sensor.
The official PR9350/02 version provides ±25 mm travel, 270 mV/V nominal sensitivity, a three-pole Cannon connector and an M3-threaded tracing pin.
Before installation or replacement, verify the compatible LVDT interface, carrier supply, mechanical linkage and alignment, available travel, cable and connector, channel scaling and machine-protection bypass procedure.
Availability, condition, price, and shipping time for PR9350-02 are confirmed during quotation.

- Connect the measuring object through the M3 threaded tracing pin
- Avoid side load, binding and impact at either travel limit
- Verify the mechanism can traverse the required movement without overtravel
- Use the documented three-pole Cannon connection
- Supply the LVDT from a compatible 5 Vrms carrier channel
- Check coil resistance before condemning the mechanical assembly
- Establish a known mechanical zero and confirm both travel directions
- Verify span and repeatability with known positions
- Restore alarms and protection only after a controlled functional test
- Valve, guide-vane or actuator stroke measurement
- Machine case expansion or other contact linear displacement measurement
- Position feedback where a spring-free tracing pin can follow the measured object
