Features:
- Provides measurement signals for both AC and DC supply inputs.
- Applies current limiting when the station-battery source is active.
- Works with the GDPA board in the EX2000 dual-source supply.
DS200EXPSG1A separates input-power supervision from the downstream control-power functions served by the EX2000 supply assembly.
The normal source and backup source follow distinct electrical paths, so the battery-limiting behavior applies only to the DC-fed operating condition.
JP1 defines the transformer-secondary grounding arrangement and must agree with the required EXPS configuration.
The General Electric DS200EXPSG1A EX2000 Bulk Power Supply Board may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Power-Source Supervision
- AC Path: The board develops the signal used to observe the normal alternating-current input.
- DC Path: A separate measurement signal represents the station-battery input.
- Source Context: Both inputs belong to the EX2000 dual-source power arrangement.
- Control Value: Input feedback lets the supply section distinguish the active source condition.
Backup-Source Behavior
- Battery Feed: The backup path is supplied from the 125 VDC station battery.
- Limiting Action: Current limiting is assigned to operation from the battery source.
- Source Change: The limiting circuit supports the transition away from the normal AC input.
- Power Continuity: The DC path preserves the defined exciter control-power arrangement when AC is unavailable.
EX2000 Power Assembly
- EXPS Section: DS200EXPSG1A performs the bulk-supply and input-supervision functions.
- GDPA Section: The companion GDPA board provides the high-frequency power-supply stage.
- Control Loads: The assembly serves control and protection circuits within the exciter.
- Exciter Loads: De-excitation, field-flashing, and contactor-control functions share the supply arrangement.
Transformer Ground Selection
- Jumper: JP1 is the designated hardware selection on the EXPS board.
- Transformer Point: The selected connection uses the center tap of the T1 secondary.
- Ground Reference: JP1 ties that center tap to ground.
- Configuration Check: The jumper position must match the intended transformer-secondary arrangement.
