Features:
- Six analog circuits configured independently
- Selectable engineering-unit scaling and input filtering
- Configurable output behavior for communications loss
IC660BBA020 places input measurement and output command functions in one Genius device, while allowing every circuit to use its own signal range and scaling relationship.
For noisy or slowly changing measurements, the programmable filter can be extended to 1024 ms; alarm and range limits remain available for process supervision.
Loss-of-communications behavior should be chosen to match the process strategy, since each output can retain its previous value or move to a configured default.
The General Electric IC660BBA020 Genius Analog I/O Block is available for quotation, documentation, and system-matching support through Apter Power.

Configurable Analog Circuits
- Voltage inputs: Circuits can use 0 to 10 VDC, plus or minus 10 VDC, plus or minus 5 VDC, or 0 to 5 VDC.
- Current mode: The 4 to 20 mA range is available for compatible input and output circuits.
- Independent setup: Each circuit receives its own range and scaling configuration.
- Common outputs: The two output channels share documented common and case-ground relationships.
Input and Block Monitoring
- Open wire: A 4 to 20 mA input below the diagnostic threshold can report an open wire.
- Alarm limits: High and low limits may be configured for input circuits.
- Range faults: Overrange and underrange conditions are reported when measurements exceed configured limits.
- LED state: Unit OK and I/O Enabled indicators show block and communications status.
Genius Configuration
- Device number: Assign a unique Genius bus address from 0 to 31.
- Baud rate: Configure a bus rate supported by the installed network.
- Defaults: Output default values and hold-last-state behavior should match the process strategy.
- Offline setup: Follow the documented grounding and terminating-resistor requirements for offline configuration.
