Features:
- Accepts eight discrete 115 VAC field signals.
- Separates the inputs into two independently supplied groups.
- Provides field-side status indication for every point.
The 47 to 63 Hz operating range covers the standard AC line frequencies used by the module's specified sensing circuit.
A 9.5 kΩ input impedance establishes predictable current draw while the ON and OFF thresholds leave a defined transition region between states.
Because the release interval can extend beyond the pickup interval, checkout timing should account for both edges rather than assuming symmetrical response.

Fitting the input module into a Series One rack
- Controller family: Install in Series One or Series One Plus programmable-control hardware.
- Point allocation: Reserve eight discrete input references for the module.
- Rack demand: Include one unit of load on the 9 VDC supply in the power calculation.
- Field interface: Use dry-contact or switched devices suited to a 115 VAC sensing circuit.
Qualifying an AC signal before it reaches logic
- Valid supply range: Keep the input source between 97 and 132 VAC.
- Positive recognition: Drive a point above 80 VAC for a definite ON state.
- Positive release: Reduce the terminal below 20 VAC for a definite OFF state.
- Response window: Allow 10–30 ms for pickup and 10–60 ms for release.
Arranging the two four-point field groups
- Group A: Wire the first four inputs to their designated common and AC source.
- Group B: Treat the remaining four points as a second supply group.
- Source choice: The two groups may share a source or use separate compatible sources.
- Device power: Provide operating power for switches and other field devices externally.
Tracing an input from the terminal to the program
- First observation: Read the faceplate indicator for the affected field point.
- Logic comparison: Compare the lamp state with the corresponding programmed reference.
- Voltage check: Measure the terminal against its group common when the two states disagree.
- Timing check: Hold the test signal long enough to exceed the specified response interval.
