Features:
- Connection Between the Innovation Series Drive Main Control Board and Bridge Personality Interface Board
- Integrates Capability of Fault String Monitoring with RTD Temperature Sensing and PWM Fan Speed Control
- Works in Coordination with the EX2100 Excitation Control System and Mark VI Series
The General Electric IS200BICLH1AED Bridge Interface Board continuously monitors bridge and ambient temperatures via four RTD sensor inputs (single and dual mode) and manages fan speed through an isolated open collector PWM output. The longer the pulse-width-modulated output is increased, the higher the fan's actual speed will be.
The General Electric IS200BICLH1AED Bridge Interface Board provides essential interfacing functions common to the entire drive assembly, and is a critical component of the control path, directly affecting the proper, normal operation of the overall excitation system. One IS200BICLH1AED board is required per drive assembly. The IS200BICLH1AED occupies a single slot in the VME type rack and is always located in Slot 5 (the dedicated bridge interface slot), as indicated by the faceplate label "Install in Slot 5 Only."
For proper installation, the General Electric IS200BICLH1AED Bridge Interface Board must be inserted into the correct slot to avoid potential damage from incorrect connections. The board connects via two P1 and P2 pin connectors on the right edge that interface with the card rack assembly. In addition to standard interfacing operation, the board's 1024-bit serial memory device is programmed at the factory with board identification and revision information for traceability. The IS200BICLH1AED board features 73 resistors, 31 capacitors, three diodes, fifteen integrated circuits, four relays, one metal oxide varistor, and three transistors on its PCB.
The IS200BICLH1AED General Electric Bridge Interface Board may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
