Features:
- IC600BF923 switches 32 active-low DC sink outputs across 10–50 VDC.
- Four groups organize eight independently indicated points each.
- Two jumpers select fail-state retention and data inversion.
IC600BF923 concentrates 32 sink outputs in one Series Six Plus slot and maps them as four eight-point groups updated during a normal I/O scan.
JP1 determines whether an I/O-chain or CPU failure disables the outputs or retains their last commanded state, while JP2 selects normal or inverted output logic.
The module switches user-supplied 10–50 VDC loads, provides a common return, and includes a CLP terminal for suppressing inductive-load transients.

Series Six Plus I/O compatibility
- Rack location: IC600BF923 installs in a Series Six Plus I/O rack or an I/O slot in a Series Six Plus CPU rack.
- Reference allocation: The CPU reserves 32 consecutive output-status bits for the module’s four groups.
- Companion module: When driving a high-density input module, configure both modules for the same inverted or non-inverted convention.
- Rack power: The module draws up to 180 mA at 5 VDC, equal to three Series Six Plus power units.
High-density output environmental limits
- Operating temperature: The specified range is 0 to 60 °C at the outside of the rack.
- Storage temperature: The manufacturer lists −20 to +80 °C.
- Relative humidity: IC600BF923 is rated for 5 to 95% non-condensing humidity.
- Altitude: The documented operating limit is 10,000 ft above sea level.
Monitoring 32 active-low outputs
- Point indication: One LED displays the state of each of the 32 outputs.
- Group organization: The points are arranged as four groups of eight within the CPU output-status table.
- Scan behavior: All four groups are normally refreshed during one I/O scan.
- Logic interpretation: JP2 determines whether a logical 1 or the complemented state commands an active-low output.
Fail-state, isolation, and load protection
- Failure response: JP1 selects output disable or hold-last-state behavior following an I/O-chain or CPU failure.
- Electrical isolation: The manufacturer specifies 2000 VDC for one second between Series Six Plus common and user common.
- Inductive loads: Connect CLP to the positive side of the highest load supply used when inductive loads are present.
- Thermal limit: Each ON point supports 250 mA through 50 °C and 200 mA from 51 to 60 °C.
