Features:
- Provides 32 software-configurable universal safe I/O channels for digital and analog safety signals.
- Combines local safety logic solving with dual 100 Mbaud links to the Safety Manager Controller.
- Supports simplex operation or a two-module redundant configuration for higher SIL 3 availability.
The current ordering configuration is Honeywell
FC-RUSLS-3224, a Universal Safe I/O and Logic Solver installed on the matching Series C IOTA.
It processes configured DI, ESD input, AI, DO and AO functions locally, then exchanges safety data with the Safety Manager Controller through two Ethernet links.
Before commissioning, verify the Safety Builder channel assignments, IOTA and FTA selection, output load limits, field wiring and simplex or redundant architecture.
Availability is subject to Apter Power inventory and confirmation of the complete Safety Manager configuration.

- ManufacturerHoneywell
- ModelFC-RUSLS-3224
- ConditionNew original ready stock
- Product FamilySafety Manager Series C
- The official ambient operating range outside the enclosure is -40 to +70 degrees C for the documented module configuration.
- The specified storage temperature range is -40 to +85 degrees C when the module is stored under the stated conditions.
- Relative humidity is specified at 10 to 95 percent non-condensing, with pollution degree 2 or better required.
- Each of the 32 channels is assigned in Safety Builder as a digital input, ESD input, analog input, digital output or analog output.
- Safety Builder derives module and channel configuration data and performs consistency checks before the configuration is downloaded.
- I/O channel 32 can be configured as the dedicated ESD input with line monitoring for the documented shutdown arrangement.
- Redundant processors, memories and power paths continuously compare results and supervise the health of the safety module.
- Internal temperature monitoring and watchdog functions detect abnormal hardware operation before it affects configured safety logic.
- Module and channel LEDs provide local status indication for controller communication, activity and field-connection conditions.
