Features:
- Triple Redundancy TMR Architecture and 2oo3 Voting Mechanism
- Comprehensive Diagnostics and High Availability Design
- Wide Operating Temperature Range and High-Level Safety Certification
Employing a triple module redundancy design, equipped with three independent ARM Cortex-R52 safety microcontrollers, and achieving system-level fault tolerance through hardware-level 2oo3 voting, ensuring that system safety functions are not lost in the event of a single or double failure.
Built-in comprehensive self-diagnostic and line monitoring functions, capable of detecting open and short circuit faults in each channel. Supports hot-swapping, allowing module replacement or maintenance while the system is running without reloading the program. Equipped with front panel LED status indicators and an RS232 serial diagnostic port for easy real-time monitoring.
Operating temperature range covers -40°C to +85°C, suitable for extreme industrial environments. Features 2500V pulse-resistant opto-isolation and meets the highest safety integrity level requirements (IEC 61508 SIL 3) certified by TÜV.
The T8193 ICS Triplexdigital input module may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

- SIL 3 Safety Certification: TÜV-certified IEC 61508 SIL 3 safety integrity level, suitable for critical control applications requiring the highest safety level.
- TMR Fault-Tolerant Architecture: Employing Triple Module Redundancy (TMR) and a 2/3 (2oo3) hardware voting mechanism, the hardware-implemented fault-tolerant (HIFT) architecture ensures that system safety functions are not lost under single or double fault conditions.
- Electrical Isolation Protection: A 2500V pulse-resistant opto-isolation barrier effectively isolates surges and interference on the field side, protecting the controller-side circuitry.
- Comprehensive Online Diagnostic Monitoring:Front panel LEDs display real-time module and channel health status; RS232 serial diagnostic port supports system monitoring, configuration, and programming; built-in diagnostic functions help detect faults early.
- Line Integrity Monitoring: Built-in open-circuit and short-circuit detection functions continuously monitor the field loop integrity of each channel, providing timely alarms in case of signal failure.
- Redundant Communication Control: Integrated dual 100Mbps redundant Ethernet, supporting multiple protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP; redundant link switching time is less than 50ms.
- Hot-Swap Online Maintenance: Supports hot-swappable modules without reloading the program; with redundant link configuration, maintenance can be performed without interrupting process control.
- Oil & Gas: Emergency Stop (ESD) systems, Burner Management Systems (BMS), and High Integrity Pressure Protection Systems (HIPPS) for offshore platforms and refineries, providing real-time monitoring of pressure and flame signals. With fiber optic options, remote I/O can be deployed up to 2 kilometers away.
- Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals:Monitoring the safety interlock status of reactors, toxic gas leak sensors, and critical valve feedback to ensure the safe operation of hazardous chemical reactions, meeting SIL 3 safety requirements.
- Power Energy:Speed protection and vibration monitoring for gas turbines/steam turbines, boiler furnace safety monitoring systems (FSSS), and generator protection systems. In LNG liquefaction plants, I/O modules can be extended to compressor rooms and cold box areas.
