Description
The PROFIBUS DPV1 Master Module is a powerful communication interface for Rockwell Automation® CompactLogix/MicroLogix® processors.

Developed under license from Rockwell Automation, this module utilizes proprietary backplane technology for robust data exchange with CompactLogix/MicroLogix processors.

This module fully complies with the IEC 61158 standard for master specifications. Acyclic parameter data can be transmitted via Category 1 or Category 2 DPV1 services, enabling the processor to easily communicate with slave devices that support the PROFIBUS DPV0/V1 protocol.

This module acts as an input/output module between the PROFIBUS network and the CompactLogix/MicroLogix processor. Data transfer by the processor is asynchronous with I/O data transfer on the PROFIBUS network.
