Features:
- Six volt-free changeover contacts are individually configurable.
- Maintained, pulsed, multistage and three-position command modes are supported.
- The terminal base remains wired when the plug-in electronics are removed.
Siemens TXM1.6R receives output commands from the TX-I/O bus and applies them to six independent relay mechanisms.
External load voltage stays on the field-contact side, while the electronic section handles address, bus and point-state functions.
Per-point LEDs and terminal isolation provide two separate checks: commanded state at the face and electrical measurement at the terminals.
The Siemens TXM1.6R Desigo TX-I/O relay module is supported with quotations, English technical records and point-configuration review from Apter Power.

From Bus Command to Contact Action
- Maintained output: The relay holds its commanded contact state until a new command arrives.
- Pulse output: The output changes for the configured pulse interval and then returns.
- Multistage logic: Several points can form mutually exclusive staged switching sequences.
- Three-position control: Paired relays use the internal stroke-time model for open/close positioning.
Wiring and Electronics Relationship
- Field side: Load conductors terminate on the base rather than on the removable electronics.
- Plug-in section: The electronic module carries relay control, bus and indication functions.
- Measurement access: Terminal isolation allows field checks without energizing the electronics.
- Replacement path: Electronics can be removed while the field terminations stay in place.
Module Continuity Rules
- Bus entry: The TX-I/O bus connection establishes when the module is seated on its base.
- Addressing: The installed address key ties the point assignment to the module position.
- Removal: Taking out one plug-in module does not interrupt the remaining TX-I/O modules.
- Address retention: The address key remains plugged into the terminal base when the plug-in I/O module is replaced.
Contact-Circuit Separation
- Mains switching: Relay contacts may switch circuits up to AC 250 V.
- Low-voltage switching: SELV or PELV 24 V circuits can occupy adjacent points.
- Phase separation: Different phases are permitted on adjacent contacts under the documented wiring rules.
- Neutral and earth: N and PE conductors are routed through the required external terminal strips.
