Features:
- X2X Link extension: carries the link from an X20 station to a following station.
- Integrated I/O supply: can feed the internal I/O potential group.
- Status visibility: LED indicators show X2X bus function and module run/error state.
X20BT9100 brings an outgoing X2X connection to the edge of an X20 station, making it useful where equipment sections are physically separated.
Its local I/O feed can serve a defined potential group while the link continues to the next station; the group arrangement remains an important part of the installation.
The transmitter uses a separately ordered through-connected bus module and terminal block, so the assembled station needs those matching components.

- End position: X20BT9100 operates only at the rightmost slot of an X20 station.
- Bus module: X20BM11 or X20BM15 provides the required through-connected internal I/O power path.
- Terminal block: X20TB06 or X20TB12 completes the assembly and is ordered separately.
- Group source: when X20BT9100 supplies internal I/O power, its 24 VDC input feeds that potential group.
- Feed protection: B&R requires a slow-blow line fuse rated no higher than 10 A for the I/O supply path.
- Load boundary: the 10 A permissible contact load defines the limit of the local I/O feed.
- Single supply: when X20BT9100 feeds a potential group, no other module may supply that same group.
- Station placement: the 100 m segment limit lets a following X20 station sit away from the source row within the documented X2X span.
- Cable preparation: B&R lists optional X2X cable for custom assembly, allowing the interstation run to suit the installed route.
- Commissioning visibility: an LED indicates X2X bus function at the transmitter, giving on-module feedback for the outgoing link.
- Separated X20 stations: carry X2X Link between equipment sections up to 100 m apart.
- System expansion: extend an X20 installation from the transmitter position to a following station.
- Combined link and feed: use the transmitter where an X20 station needs both outgoing X2X Link and local internal I/O power.
