The EMERSON PR9268/201-100 Electrodynamic Velocity Sensor is engineered for precise vibration monitoring in industrial machinery. With a sensitivity of 28.5 mV/mm/s (723.9 mV/in/s) and a frequency range of 4 to 1000 Hz, it provides accurate measurement of dynamic motion across a broad spectrum. Its low transverse sensitivity (0.13 at 110 Hz) ensures reliable readings with minimal interference from lateral vibrations.
Designed for durability, the sensor features a mechanical vibration limit of 3000 µm peak-to-peak, amplitude linearity under 2%, and can handle maximum continuous acceleration of 10g and intermittent acceleration up to 20g. The aluminum-magnesium-silicon alloy housing (Al Mg Si Pb F 28) offers robust protection while maintaining lightweight construction.
With low active capacitance (<1.2 nF), controlled damping (~0.56 at 20°C), and precise resistance/inductance values, this sensor ensures high-fidelity vibration monitoring, making it ideal for predictive maintenance and machinery health monitoring.
