        GE Genius I/O is a family of intelligent,stand-alone I/O blocks that mount directly on the machine instead of inside a PLC rack.Each block—whether 8,16 or more circuits—combines configurable discrete, analog or current-source channels with built-in diagnostics,1 500 V isolation and Genius-bus daisy-chain wiring,so a single cable links dozens of blocks back to the PLC while cutting panels, conduit and commissioning time.
