Features:
- Develops multiple logic and signal-level supplies for DC2000 control.
- Conditions armature, line and external field feedback in one board path.
- Combines branch fusing with jumper and burden-switch configuration.
Rather than feeding every circuit from one common output,
DS200SDCIG2A separates the logic, bipolar signal and AC control branches. Each DC2000 section therefore receives its required supply type through an independently protected route.
Feedback entering
DS200SDCIG2A is organized by source before reaching the controller. Armature quantities support converter regulation, line inputs establish magnitude and phase information, and the Group 2 field channel accepts current data from an external exciter.
DS200SDCIG2A assigns different configuration decisions to JP1, JP2 and SW1. The jumpers determine contactor-control behavior, whereas the switch matches current-transformer burden to the drive rating; they are not interchangeable setup controls.
The General Electric DS200SDCIG2A DC Power Supply and Instrumentation Board may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Control Power Branches
- Logic Rail: The board develops the +5 VDC supply used by digital control circuitry.
- Signal Rails: Bipolar 15 VDC and 24 VDC branches support interface and measurement circuits.
- AC Branch: A dedicated 115 VAC control supply is produced on the board.
- Protection: Individual fuse groups isolate faults in the documented supply branches.
Drive Feedback Processing
- Armature Feedback: Current and voltage signals enter the instrumentation circuits.
- Line Monitoring: AC line current, magnitude and phase sequence are conditioned for control use.
- Field Measurement: The G2 path accepts current feedback from an external exciter.
- SCR Interface: Gate-drive circuits deliver firing pulses to the armature SCR module.
Protected Circuit Groups
- FU1-FU3: These devices protect the signal-level and logic-related supply branches.
- FU5-FU6: The higher-current paths use separate protective fuses.
- Status Lights: Lamps and red LEDs identify the corresponding open-fuse condition.
- Cabinet Position: Indicator visibility may require access because the SDCI sits behind the control card.
Jumper and Switch Functions
- JP1: Selects the control source for the MD contactor-drive output.
- JP2: Selects the MA contactor dropout-delay path.
- SW1: Matches AC current-transformer burden to the nominal DC output current.
- Configuration Record: Hardware positions must follow the drive-specific setting summary.
