Features:
- Four HART output channels with 4–20 mA signals
- EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, and DNP3 Ethernet connectivity
- HART pass-through and DTM support
Four HART output loops are brought onto an Ethernet control network by the PLX51-HART-4O. It is intended for valve positioners and other field devices that receive a 4–20 mA command while exchanging HART variables.
Each output channel is configured for its own field instrument, with cyclic process values and HART information mapped through EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, or DNP3 Ethernet. The 4O ordering code identifies output service and must not be substituted with the 4I input model.
Loop power, current direction, channel assignment, device polling, and fail-state behavior require review before outputs are enabled. Channel diagnostics should be checked individually during field commissioning.
Apter Power can assist with channel matching, official documentation, and pricing for the ProSoft PLX51-HART-4O 4 Channel HART Output Module.
