Features:
- Matches the TQ4X2 probe for a 2 mm nominal measuring range.
- Provides 8 mV/µm sensitivity through a standard three-wire voltage output.
- Uses the 5 m matched cable ordering option shown for this conditioner.
The selected signal conditioner is 204-452-000-211, the IQS452 entry paired with TQ4X2, 2 mm range and 5 m cable.
It excites the probe with a high-frequency carrier and demodulates the resulting eddy-current response into a dynamic voltage proportional to target movement.
A conditioner from another IQS range can share the housing but use a different probe, span or sensitivity; match all ordering-table columns before replacement.
Availability is subject to Apter Power inventory and sourcing confirmation.

- Measures relative shaft vibration and static gap without contacting the rotating surface.
- Conditions proximity signals for turbine, compressor, pump and generator monitoring systems.
- Feeds rack processor modules with a temperature-compensated output scaled to probe movement.
- The HF modulator supplies the excitation needed by the matching proximity transducer.
- Demodulation converts probe impedance change into a dynamic signal proportional to target movement.
- Temperature compensation stabilizes the measurement across the stated operating range.
- This configuration is calibrated for a 5 m probe cable.
- Probe, extension cable and conditioner form one measurement chain whose combined length must be preserved.
- Changing cable length can alter scale and interchangeability even when the connector remains compatible.
- The three-wire voltage output has a 500-ohm output impedance.
- Short-circuit current is limited to 45 mA for output protection.
- Supply wiring must remain between -20 and -32 V while remaining within the conditioner current demand.
