Features:
- Provides 16 analog input channels for 4-20 mA instruments with HART communication.
- Supplies 24 VDC field power at up to 30 mA per channel.
- Uses S-series terminal-block keying to prevent incompatible card connections.
KJ3223X1-BK1 combines signal of 4-20 mA analog input with HART, field circuit of 24 VDC at 30 mA per channel, and channels of 16 in the DeltaV S-Series Traditional I/O platform.
It acquires sixteen 4-20 mA analog input channels with HART communication. This role connects the S-Series 16-Channel 4-20 mA HART Analog Input Card to the surrounding DeltaV S-Series Traditional I/O architecture.
Before commissioning, set the terminal-block rotary keys to A2; remove field and system power before card handling; and complete the required loop assessment for energy-limited nodes.
Availability is subject to Apter Power inventory and sourcing confirmation.

- Acquires multiple process-transmitter signals through DeltaV S-series analog-input I/O.
- Provides HART access to compatible field transmitters for device information and asset diagnostics.
- Supports approved Zone 2 or Class I Division 2 installations when all stated conditions are satisfied.
- Draws 150 mA from the 12 VDC local bus as the card's required system-side power load.
- Accepts 24 VDC at 600 mA through the bussed field-power connection serving the input assembly.
- Uses rotary-key position A2 on the terminal block to identify the supported card arrangement.
- Operates across the specified ambient-temperature range from -40 to +70 degrees C.
- Supports 5 to 95% relative humidity when the surrounding environment remains non-condensing.
- Meets ISA-S71.04 Class G3 requirements for airborne-contaminant exposure during operation.
- Set the terminal-block rotary keys to position A2 before inserting the card into the assembly.
- Remove both field power and system power before handling, installing, or replacing the card.
- Complete the required loop assessment for every connected node that uses energy-limited wiring.
