Features:
- Panel-mount electronics complete a calibrated PR642x eddy current measuring chain
- A front self-locking LEMO socket connects the matching Emerson eddy current sensor
- Screw terminals provide the −24 V DC supply connection and proportional voltage output
Emerson CON021 / SNG-CON021 supplies the oscillator, linearization, and amplification functions required by the matched PR642x probe.
The measuring chain can monitor slow axial displacement, fast radial vibration, position, eccentricity, and speed or key pulses on rotating machinery.
Confirm the calibrated probe, serial-number pairing, target material, output-range selection, cable route, load, grounding, and approval conditions before commissioning.
Availability, condition, price, and shipping time for CON021 / SNG-CON021 are confirmed during quotation.

- The CON021 sensor input is a self-locking LEMO socket at the converter front
- Supply and signal output use screw terminals on the mounting plate
- The output circuit is open-circuit and short-circuit protected
- The converter label identifies the matched sensor type and sensor serial number
- A fine-adjustment potentiometer is provided for the approved calibration procedure
- Standard measuring chains are adjusted for 42CrMo4 / SAE 4140 target material
- For the −2...−18 V range, an output from −18...−22 V indicates that the probe gap is too large.
- An output from −1...−2 V can indicate that the gap is too small, the sensor is damaged, or the sensor circuit is open.
- An output from 0...−1 V indicates a converter fault or missing supply voltage.
- Use CON021 / SNG-CON021 with a correctly paired PR642x sensor for static or dynamic shaft-distance measurement
- Apply the chain to radial or axial shaft displacement, vibration, position, eccentricity, or speed/key measurement
- Verify target material, probe gap, measuring range, output range, shielding, and approval conditions for the installed machine
