Features:
- Drives the upper and lower IGBTs across three inverter phases.
- Isolates current feedback and motor-terminal voltage from control electronics.
- Reports gate-drive and shunt-feedback faults through nine indicators.
DS200IIBDG1A brings protected gate commands and isolated feedback onto the same AC2000I board without merging their electrical domains.
Three phase pairs organize the six drive channels, giving each inverter leg a dedicated upper and lower control path.
Ribbon, transformer, power, and sensor connectors divide the board interfaces according to their signal roles.
The General Electric DS200IIBDG1A AC2000I IGBT Gate Driver Board may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Six-Channel Switching Control
- Channel Count: Six optically isolated circuits issue the IGBT gate commands.
- Phase Layout: Each of the three phases has one upper and one lower drive path.
- Power Separation: Optical isolation separates logic commands from the inverter power stage.
- Drive Protection: Each gate path is supervised for undervoltage and desaturation.
Feedback Boundary
- Current Feedback: The IIBD board isolates the current-feedback path from the controller.
- Voltage Feedback: Motor-terminal-voltage feedback crosses a separate isolation boundary.
- Shunt Input: The feedback section receives current information through the shunt interface.
- Control Interface: Isolated feedback is returned through the board I/O connection to the control assembly.
Phase and Feedback Monitoring
- Gate Faults: Undervoltage and desaturation are monitored in the gate-drive circuits.
- Current Faults: The shunt-feedback section detects di/dt and overcurrent conditions.
- Indicators: Nine LEDs identify fault states associated with the three phases.
- Fault Context: Diagnostics distinguish switching-path faults from feedback-related conditions.
Control and Power Interfaces
- Snubber Links: Three 12-pin ribbon cables connect to the snubber board.
- Controller Link: A 34-pin ribbon carries I/O between the IIBD and IMCP boards.
- Gate Outputs: Six two-pin connections feed the isolation transformers.
- Auxiliary Inputs: Separate two-pin connections accept high-frequency AC power and the temperature sensor.
