Features:
- Supports Directo-Matic II clock-logic distribution.
- Accepts separate A-E and OR-E expansion paths.
- Retains two-input AND behavior without expansion.
In the IC3600LCDA1 logic block, A and B serve as the normal inputs, while dedicated terminals accept expanded AND and OR results.
The IC3600LCDA1 output changes after the board resolves both direct inputs and any connected expansion condition, keeping the complete equation in one signal path.
Revision markings IC3600LCDA1A and IC3600LCDA1B identify complete board assemblies within the same LCDA functional family.
The General Electric IC3600LCDA1 Clock Logic Driver Control Board is available from Apter Power with quotation and technical-data support.

Normal Input Behavior
- Input A: Serves as one normal condition in the LCDA AND relationship.
- Input B: Provides the second normal condition for the same logic stage.
- True Result: Both normal inputs must be high when no expansion is connected.
- Low Condition: Either normal input can hold the basic AND result low.
Expanded Logic Connections
- A-E Path: Accepts an additional AND condition from an external logic expander.
- OR-E Path: Adds an alternate OR branch to the combined equation.
- LGXA Link: Extends the number of AND conditions presented to IC3600LCDA1.
- LLXA Link: Supplies expanded OR logic to the IC3600LCDA1 input network.
Amplified Logic Output
- Power Amplifier: The LCDA circuit includes an integrated output-driving stage.
- Fan-Out: IC3600LCDA1 can operate as many as 32 L-logic loads.
- Resolved State: The amplifier follows the result of the complete input equation.
- Signal Distribution: One logic result can be delivered to multiple receiving points.
Combined Logic Response
- Basic Mode: Unused A-E and OR-E paths leave IC3600LCDA1 in two-input AND operation.
- Input Inhibit: A low normal input prevents the basic AND term from becoming true.
- AND Expansion: An added condition can inhibit the result through the A-E path.
- OR Expansion: The OR-E branch contributes an alternate true condition to the equation.
