Features:
- Converts 120/240 VAC into 5 VDC and 3.3 VDC backplane power.
- Provides up to 1.0 A at 3.3 VDC within a 1.5 A shared limit.
- Works as a primary supply or on a Power Supply Booster Carrier.
The dual-rail output supports VersaMax assemblies that combine 5 V logic with newer 3.3 V circuitry.
A removable input jumper selects the intended nominal line voltage, helping prevent an incorrect 120/240 VAC setup.
Built-in current limiting protects the supply during overload or short-circuit conditions while the station demand is corrected.
The General Electric IC200PWR102 VersaMax Expanded Power Supply may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Line Configuration
- Low Range: Use 85-132 VAC with the selection jumper installed.
- High Range: Use 176-264 VAC with the jumper removed.
- Frequency: The accepted line-frequency window is 47-63 Hz.
- Grounding: Protective earth connects at the dedicated supply terminal.
Dual-Rail Capacity
- Rail Voltages: Backplane loads receive regulated 5 VDC and 3.3 VDC.
- Combined Limit: Total current from both rails cannot exceed 1.5 A.
- 3.3 V Share: The lower-voltage rail can deliver up to 1.0 A.
- Load Planning: Available 5 V current decreases as 3.3 V demand rises.
Supplemental Placement
- Main Position: The supply mounts directly on a VersaMax CPU or NIU.
- Extra Capacity: A booster carrier accepts the unit as a supplemental source.
- Power Budget: Module draw should be totaled before choosing either placement.
- Shared Backplane: Added capacity supports modules beyond the primary supply budget.
Safe Service Points
- Hot Swap: The power supply must not be inserted or removed while energized.
- Overload: Internal protection responds when station demand exceeds capacity.
- Short Circuit: Output limiting protects the DC rails during a wiring fault.
- Jumper Warning: Applying 240 VAC with the 120 VAC jumper installed can damage the unit.
