Features:
- Operates from 120/240 VAC while supplying 24 VDC for input devices.
- Switches compatible AC or DC loads through six normally open relay contacts.
- Combines configurable sensor inputs, flash storage and an RS-232 programming port.
The AC power section lets General Electric IC200UDR001 start from common mains sources across an 85-264 VAC operating range. Its 24 VDC auxiliary output supplies up to 200 mA for input circuits and eligible field devices.
Six isolated Form A contacts control externally powered loads from 5-30 VDC or 5-250 VAC. This arrangement separates the controller power source from the voltage switched by motor starters, solenoids or indicators.
Two removable screw-down barrier-style terminal strips with covers carry field wiring, while the front Run/Stop switch, two analog potentiometers and RS-232 RJ-45 port provide local operating and setup access.
The General Electric IC200UDR001 14-Point AC-Powered VersaMax Micro PLC may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Mains Input Planning
- Voltage window: Provide 85-264 VAC to cover the nominal 120/240 VAC controller supply.
- Frequency window: Keep the source within 47.5-63 Hz so the AC power section remains in range.
- Ride-through: Allow for 10 ms hold-up at 85-100 VAC and 20 ms from 100-264 VAC.
- Inrush allowance: Size upstream protection for the stated peak current during the two-millisecond energization interval.
Form A Output Use
- Contact arrangement: Each output is a normally open, single-pole single-throw relay contact.
- Field source: Supply external AC or DC power to the controlled device; the contact does not source load power.
- Load selection: Use compatible motor starters, solenoids or indicators within the relay ratings.
- Waveform limit: Do not assign these mechanical contacts to PWM or pulse-train operation.
Sensor and Counter Connections
- Polarity choice: Wire the 24 VDC inputs for the positive- or negative-logic scheme selected in configuration.
- Common devices: Connect suitable pushbuttons, limit switches or proximity sensors as standard inputs.
- Fast counting: Allocate up to four Type A counters or one Type A plus one Type B at frequencies to 10 kHz.
- Input supply budget: Keep combined input-circuit and user-device current within the 200 mA auxiliary rating.
Compact AC-Powered Controls
- Starter panels: Relay contacts interface PLC logic with compatible motor-starter control circuits.
- Solenoid sequencing: Six independent outputs switch externally powered valves or actuators.
- Machine sensing: Eight configurable DC inputs collect events from switches and proximity devices.
- Pulse measurement: Built-in counters process moderate-speed signals for flow, velocity or material-handling tasks.
