Features:
- Connects two platinum RTD temperature points.
- Assigns a supported sensor type independently to each channel.
- Offers adjustable digital filtering and 50/60 Hz rejection in Cscape.
The Horner HE800RTD000 ordering code denotes the two-input metal SmartStack version; the HE-RTD000 name in the same datasheet identifies the plastic-case form.
Controller setup determines sensor resistance, temperature units, decimal resolution and smoothing, while the I/O map itself follows stack position and cannot be edited by the user.
For a service replacement, retain each three-wire channel as an excitation-sense-common set and confirm that no contact device adds unequal resistance to the signal path.
The Horner HE800RTD000 2-Channel Platinum RTD Input Module is supported by Apter Power with documentation and system-matching assistance.

Independent Platinum Probe Selection
- Channel Choice: Each of the two inputs can use its own supported RTD resistance.
- Element Values: Selectable probes are 100, 200, 500 or 1000 Ω at 0°C.
- Curve: All listed choices use platinum alpha 0.00385.
- Standard: The supported characteristic is identified as DIN 43760.
Module Setup Controls
- Sensor Type: Choose the RTD resistance separately for each channel.
- Temperature Format: Celsius and Fahrenheit ranges are available in the setup tab.
- Filter Constant: A configurable digital-filter level changes response smoothing.
- Reject Rate: Software selects either 50 Hz or 60 Hz noise rejection.
- I/O Map: Register locations follow model number and SmartStack position and are not user edited.
Register Divisors by Format
- 0.05 Degree: Divide the %AI value by 20 for Celsius or Fahrenheit.
- 0.1 Degree: Divide the register value by 10.
- 0.5 Degree: Divide the register value by 2.
- Range Check: Confirm the chosen unit and resolution before alarm limits are interpreted.
Wiring Integrity and Isolation Steps
- Power Removal: De-energize the controller, CAN port and connected peripherals before module work.
- Cable Type: Use shielded wiring such as the specified three-conductor example or equivalent.
- Shield Termination: Terminate the shield at the module strip or panel ground block as conditions require.
- Signal Path: Avoid interposing electrical devices that can introduce resistive imbalance.
- Personnel: Installation and service are reserved for qualified electrical personnel.
