Features:
- Distributes fused 5 VDC power and watchdog signals from the controller cabinet to Safety Manager A.R.T. I/O racks.
- Provides two groups of nine fused outputs for the 5V-1 and 5V-2 supply paths.
- Supports two 5 VDC inputs rated at up to 16 A each, with a maximum output current of 2.8 A per fuse.
The Honeywell FC-PDB-ARTF05 is a fused power distribution board for Safety Manager A.R.T. I/O cabinets. It distributes the controller cabinet’s fused 5 VDC supplies and associated watchdog signals to connected I/O racks.
The Honeywell FC-PDB-ARTF05 provides separate 5V-1 and 5V-2 supply paths. Each path feeds nine fused WdPx.y connectors, allowing individual output branches to be protected by dedicated fuses.
The Honeywell FC-PDB-ARTF05 can be installed above the controller chassis for controller-cabinet I/O racks or inside an extension I/O cabinet. The required cable types depend on the cabinet location and must follow the Safety Manager hardware reference.
The FC-PDB-ARTF05 HONEYWELL A.R.T. Module may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

HONEYWELL FC-PDB-ARTF05 A.R.T. Module Specs
General
- Manufacturer HONEYWELL
- Model FC-PDB-ARTF05
- Condition New Original ready stock
- Product Family FC-PDB-IOX05, FC-PDB-IO05, FC-PDB-CPX05
Important Notice: Other accessories, manuals, cables, calibration data, software, etc. are not included with this equipment unless listed in the above stock item description. All prices are shown in USD.
- Controller-Cabinet Installation: Install the FC-PDB-ARTF05 above the controller chassis when the board supplies Safety Manager A.R.T. I/O racks in the controller cabinet.
- Extension-Cabinet Installation: Install the FC-PDB-ARTF05 inside the extension I/O cabinet when the board supplies I/O racks located in that cabinet.
- Controller Connection: Use two PDC-CPX05 cables for a controller-cabinet installation or two PDC-IOX05-1 cables for an extension-cabinet installation, connecting 5V-1 and 5V-2 to their corresponding FC-PDB-ARTF05 inputs.
- I/O Rack Connection: Connect each I/O rack to the FC-PDB-ARTF05 with a pair of PDC-ART05 cables, matching WdP1.x to WdP1 and WdP2.x to WdP2.
- Fused Branch Protection: The FC-PDB-ARTF05 provides two groups of nine individually fused 5 VDC output branches for the 5V-1 and 5V-2 supply paths.
- Fuse-to-Output Assignment: Each fuse transfers the incoming 5 VDC supply from its corresponding controller path to one WdPx.y output connector.
- Specified Fuse: Each FC-PDB-ARTF05 output uses a 4 A, 32 VDC, 5 × 19 mm blade fuse; Honeywell identifies Littelfuse 0287004.PXS in the hardware reference.
- Output Current Limit: The maximum permitted output current is 2.8 A per fused FC-PDB-ARTF05 output branch.
- Architecture Verification: Before retaining or replacing an FC-PDB-ARTF05 during a system upgrade, confirm that the target Safety Manager architecture continues to use A.R.T. I/O racks requiring fused 5 VDC and watchdog distribution.
- Installed-I/O Assessment: Honeywell’s FSC-to-Safety Manager migration approach can retain existing FSC I/O, field devices and associated wiring in supported migration configurations; the installed hardware must therefore be assessed against the project-specific migration design.
- Connection Review: Verify whether the FC-PDB-ARTF05 is installed in the controller cabinet or an extension I/O cabinet, because the two locations require different power-distribution cable types.
- Documentation Control: Confirm the FC-PDB-ARTF05 type number, fuse specification, connector assignments and cable types against the applicable Honeywell hardware reference and the approved site migration documentation before commissioning the upgraded system.
