Honeywell documentation includes FS-IOB-0001S as the backplane for the non-redundant IOCHAS-0001S chassis.
Product overview:
FS-IOB-0001S forms the electrical backbone of the non-redundant Safety Manager I/O chassis.
It carries multiple chassis functions, so a backplane replacement must preserve cable labels, power groups, jumpers and module positions.
Verified resources for FS-IOB-0001S:
Verified specifications for FS-IOB-0001S:
Typical applications:
The backplane is a chassis component rather than a standalone field interface and must remain matched to its I/O housing.
Safety and compliance:
Record cable and jumper positions before removal because incorrect reconnection can affect multiple safety-related I/O channels.
Performance and efficiency:
The integrated arrangement reduces chassis wiring while maintaining defined signal, converter and power connection points.
FS-IOB-0001S is a non-conformal-coated non-redundant i/o backplane for the Honeywell Safety Manager platform. FS-IOB-0001S distributes I/O bus communication, internal and external power, system interconnection signals and watchdog grouping across the 18 module positions of a non-redundant chassis.
The backplane includes one IO-0001 connector for slot 21, eighteen I/O module connectors, CN1 through CN18 system cable interfaces and address-setting jumpers. Confirm the matching S chassis, horizontal bus, power cables and field converter layout before replacement.
