Features:
- Provides eight commoned 48 VDC outputs with relay-based TMR voting and continuous field supervision.
- Uses a five-volt secondary source to extend short-circuit detection while a commanded output remains off.
- Requires at least 100 mA of connected load and a 1.25-amp fuse at each supervised termination path.
Configured as the mint-green 48 VDC SDO module, 3617E combines eight commoned output points with hot-spare capability for Tricon chassis installations.
Its optional regulated secondary supply extends diagnostic coverage by exposing shorted field loads during the de-energized state, a function not provided by the 115 VAC version.
Select loads that remain within 1 A per point and meet the 100 mA supervision threshold; use the specified ETP, cable interface, and 1.25 A output fusing.
Availability is subject to Apter Power inventory and sourcing confirmation.

- Supervises 48 VDC shutdown coils whose field power, fuse and load continuity must remain observable during long dwell periods.
- Distinguishes an open circuit from an energized load through the documented minimum-current threshold.
- Adds de-energized short detection for DC trip circuits when the approved secondary supply is wired to the ETP.
- The supervised output works with the dedicated 9667-910F termination hardware and its approved cable interface.
- A regulated 5.00 VDC ±0.25 VDC auxiliary source is required when the installation needs the extended Off-state shorted-load diagnostic.
- Secondary-power wiring remains separate from the main 48 VDC load supply and must follow the documented commoned-output arrangement.
- Continuous loopback detects missing field power, a blown fuse and an open or disconnected load during normal operation.
- The module reports a field short that energizes a load incorrectly and adds Off-state short detection when the auxiliary source is present.
- POINT, PWR and LOAD indicators distinguish external-circuit faults from the internal PASS, FAULT and ACTIVE diagnostics.
- The eight commoned outputs operate from 36–72 VDC and switch resistive loads up to 150 W.
- Each point supports 1 A continuously and allows a 5 A surge for 10 milliseconds.
- A 100 mA minimum load and 4 mA maximum leakage define the supported range for dependable supervision.
