Features:
- Intelligent routing between EtherNet/IP and DH485
- AIC Mode conversion between RS485 and RS232
- Transparent PCCC access for SLC5/03 programming
Legacy DH485 equipment can be reached from an Ethernet-based Logix architecture through the A-DH485R/B Series B router. The unit is also suitable for remote SLC5/03 programming over Ethernet.
Routing Table, Transparent PCCC, and AIC modes address different migration needs. AIC operation converts between RS-485 and RS-232, while mapped routing can direct DH485 destination nodes and data files toward configured Logix controllers.
Select the operating mode before building the Slate project, then confirm node addresses, serial wiring, Ethernet routes, and controller ownership. Packet displays in the webserver provide useful evidence when a mapped destination does not respond.
Migration documentation and system-matching support for the ProSoft A-DH485R/B DH485 Router can be obtained from Apter Power.
