Features:
- Routes tachometer and control signals through X101.
- Retains parameter and process data in non-volatile EEPROM.
- Connects the EEPROM path to the A7001 CUD1 through X109.
The A7009 assembly joins terminal-level wiring and memory retention in one rear-panel component.
X101 keeps the tachometer reference, enable path and reset-related signals on defined terminal positions.
Memory diagnostics verify communication, value ranges, writeback and stored-data checksums.
The Siemens C98043-A7009-L1 6RY1703-0GA01 Rear Panel Wiring Assembly may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Signal groups presented at terminals 103–110
- 103: Accepts the analog tachometer signal up to ±270 V.
- 104: Provides the tachometer reference ground.
- 105–108: Carry ES/S, P24/ES, ES/P and ES/P_Reset.
- 109–110: Complete the documented NS signal pair.
Data retained when converter power is removed
- Parameters: Configured values are stored in non-volatile memory.
- Process data: Required non-volatile process values remain retained.
- Write check: Stored values are read back and verified after transfer.
- Checksum: Memory integrity is checked for retained data blocks.
How the field wiring functions are separated
- Tacho path: Measurement and ground occupy separate terminals.
- Enable path: ES/S and P24/ES form defined control connections.
- Reset path: ES/P and ES/P_Reset are individually terminated.
- NS path: Two terminal positions are reserved for the NS connection.
Checks that narrow an A7009 memory fault
- Connection: F062 can indicate a faulty EEPROM link through X109.
- Value range: Stored parameters are tested against permissible limits.
- Write cycle: A failed EEPROM transfer is reported separately.
- Board scope: A7009 and A7001 are both considered in the memory path.
