Features:
- Eight current-output channels support standard analog and HART field communication.
- Run-time reparameterization lets the control system update supported channel settings while the station remains active.
- Per-channel status and diagnostic LEDs separate output state from module and maintenance indications.
The module sits on a compatible ET 200SP HA terminal block and converts controller data into current commands for connected field actuators.
HART and MultiHART modes add field-device information to the normal output-data path without changing the eight physical current channels.
Supply monitoring and channel diagnostics report electrical faults back through the station while the field circuits remain isolated from the backplane bus.

Eight controlled field outputs
- Range selection: Each channel is parameterized for 0-10 mA, 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA operation rather than sharing one fixed module range.
- Load path: A two-wire actuator closes the current loop through the assigned channel and terminal-block connection.
- Load window: The current command is specified for 150 to 750 ohm loop resistance and no more than 10 mH inductance.
- Signal settling: The 1.2 ms settling specification applies to both the stated resistive load and the permitted inductive load.
Process values and device information
- Standard output area: Sixteen output bytes carry the eight analog channel commands.
- HART mode: Input bytes return HART information while the analog commands remain in the output area.
- MultiHART mode: A separate command byte coordinates MultiHART requests and the associated input response data.
- Quality information: A dedicated QI byte accompanies the module data so the controller can interpret channel validity.
Terminal-block dependent operation
- M1 requirement: Redundancy is available when the module is installed with the M1 terminal-block type.
- Run changes: Supported parameters can be changed in RUN, keeping configuration work separate from physical module removal.
- Station fit: H1, M1, N0, H0 and M0 terminal blocks are recognized, but their wiring functions are not identical.
- Backplane boundary: The output group is electrically isolated from the ET 200SP HA backplane bus and the load-voltage path.
Channel and module status paths
- Loop faults: Wire-break and short-circuit conditions are evaluated separately for each current channel.
- Range faults: Overflow and underflow reports distinguish a value outside the configured output range.
- Supply state: The green PWR indication follows load-supply monitoring for the module.
- Status hierarchy: Channel LEDs, the MAINT LED and the DIAG LED separate local output state, maintenance demand and module condition.
