Features:
- Provides 16 isolated analog current-input channels.
- Accepts field signals in the 4 to 20 mA range.
- Supports dual-redundant configuration in the documented FIO system.
The AAI143-S03 S1 is an AAI143 current-input module configuration for Yokogawa FIO systems. It acquires field transmitter signals through sixteen isolated channels for process measurement.
In service, the module converts each 4 to 20 mA loop signal into input data for the control system. Its isolated channels and redundancy support help maintain signal acquisition within a configured FIO node.
Before installation or replacement, verify the full suffix, node type, terminal block and cable arrangement against the existing system. Use an isolation barrier for intrinsically safe applications and follow the applicable Yokogawa wiring instructions.
Availability is subject to Apter Power inventory and sourcing confirmation.

- Input-to-system isolation is rated at 1,500 V AC for one minute under the specified cable conditions.
- Yokogawa prohibits Zener barriers in intrinsically safe applications; an isolation barrier is required.
- With the dedicated cable, withstand voltage is 500 V AC between input and system; MIL-cable limits depend on the cable specification.
- Designed for indoor installation in a compatible Yokogawa CENTUM VP field I/O node-unit cabinet.
- Operate the module only within the ambient temperature and humidity limits published for the installed FIO enclosure.
- Prevent condensation, corrosive gases, conductive dust, excessive vibration, and uncontrolled electromagnetic interference around the I/O station.
- Provides current-measurement data from field transmitters to Yokogawa field control stations.
- Supports process monitoring and control strategies that use standardized 4 to 20 mA instrument signals.
- Can be deployed in a dual-redundant acquisition architecture when the FIO system is designed for redundancy.
