Features:
- Tight-clearance sensing: The NSv geometry supports measurements where conventional probe side-view or counterbore clearance is limited.
- Exact mechanical code: The 1/4-28 thread, zero unthreaded length and 3.2-inch case define the installed probe body.
- Documented cable termination: The 1.0 m standard lead ends in a ClickLoc connector without a connector protector.
This model senses the distance to a conductive target through an eddy-current NSv probe system.
The probe must be used with the extension cable and Proximitor sensor selected for the same Bently Nevada system length.
Final acceptance depends on the installed target, probe spacing, gap setting and the machinery protection channel configuration.
Apter Power can help confirm the Bently Nevada 330901-00-32-10-02-05 probe code, NSv system length, connector arrangement and approval marking before quotation.

- System length: Match the probe, extension cable and NSv Proximitor sensor as one documented measurement chain.
- Target material: Review scale-factor effects if the measured surface is not the specified AISI 4140 steel reference.
- Shaft geometry: Check the target diameter and probe-tip spacing when small shafts or paired probes are involved.
- Approval scope: Verify the delivered nameplate and installation drawing for the destination hazardous-area requirement.
- Thread engagement: Keep engagement at or below 0.375 inch to prevent binding and probe damage.
- Cable bend: Maintain at least the published minimum bend radius and protect the unarmored lead from pull load.
- Initial gap: Set the probe within the approved linear range and record the resulting channel voltage.
- Connector control: Keep the ClickLoc interface clean, dry and fully seated before restoring the monitoring channel.
- Channel baseline: Record gap voltage, vibration trend and machine state before removing the original probe.
- Cross-talk check: Compare paired-probe readings after installation where tip separation is limited.
- Signal path: Isolate probe, extension cable, Proximitor sensor and field wiring faults before replacing components.
- Trip restoration: Re-enable alarms or shutdown logic only after the signal is stable and directionally correct.
- Small-shaft radial vibration: Measures relative shaft motion where an NSv probe is required by available clearance.
- Axial position: Tracks thrust movement against a suitable flat conductive target.
- Phase reference: Supports Keyphasor pulse generation with an approved target geometry.
- Speed monitoring: Provides tachometer or zero-speed input within the qualified system arrangement.
