Features:
- Executes Mark VI turbine application code in a single VME slot.
- Moves rack data through the VME and VCMI path.
- Separates UDH Ethernet, diagnostics and serial Modbus access.
IS215UCVEH2B is the standard UCVE processor at the center of a Mark VI control module.
Application execution remains on the controller while VCMI transfers external I/O data across the VME rack.
Front-panel indicators provide independent evidence for controller, flash, power and network conditions.
The General Electric IS215UCVEH2B Mark VI UCVE Standard Controller may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Rack Data Path
- Processor side: IS215UCVEH2B executes the turbine application in the control rack.
- Internal bus: The VME bus links the controller with other rack boards.
- I/O bridge: VCMI transfers external data between the I/O network and the VME path.
- Fault boundary: Processor execution and I/O transport can be checked as separate functions.
Plant Network Path
- Network role: The Ethernet interface connects IS215UCVEH2B to the Unit Data Highway.
- Physical medium: The front RJ45 port supports 10BaseT/100BaseTX.
- Link evidence: Ethernet indicators show link and traffic state.
- Separation: A UDH interruption does not by itself identify a VME or application failure.
Two Service Channels
- COM1: Provides the diagnostic setup connection for IS215UCVEH2B.
- COM2: Carries the serial Modbus interface.
- DCS path: COM2 can connect the controller to a serial DCS endpoint.
- Troubleshooting: Serial access remains available independently of UDH Ethernet.
Controller Evidence
- System state: SYSFAIL identifies a controller-level fault condition.
- Storage activity: Flash indication separates media access from network traffic.
- Power state: Front indication confirms the controller supply condition.
- Network state: Link and activity indicators show the UDH interface condition.
