Features:
- Interface Between the Universal AC Power Source and 3500 Rack
Backplane
- Fits behind power supply in 3500 rack with 120.7×25.4×114.3mm footprint.
- Not interchangeable with newer Low Voltage DC PIM (114M5335-01).
The 133300-01 is a Legacy Low Voltage DC Power Input Module designed specifically for the 3500 Series Machinery Protection System. It accepts a nominal 20-30 Vdc input and provides the interface between the external power source and the 133292-01 Legacy Low Voltage DC Power Supply. The 133300-01 is a critical component for maintaining older 3500 installations that were configured with low-voltage DC power. The 133300-01 must be used with its corresponding legacy power supply and cannot be mixed with newer generation components. This module is essential for plants that continue to operate legacy 3500 monitoring systems.
The 133300-01 is installed in the dedicated rear slot directly behind its associated power supply, optimizing rack space utilization. The 133300-01's compact design allows for efficient use of the 3500 rack's rear compartment. The 133300-01's small footprint makes it ideal for space-constrained installations where multiple modules need to be accommodated in the rack.
The 133300-01 is a legacy component that is NOT compatible with the newer Low Voltage DC Power Supply (114M5330-01) and its corresponding PIM (114M5335-01). The 133300-01 must be used exclusively with the Legacy Low Voltage DC Power Supply (133292-01). The 133300-01 uses a specific replacement fuse (01720045) for overcurrent protection. When servicing legacy 3500 systems, it is critical to verify that the correct PIM is used with the corresponding power supply to ensure proper operation and avoid compatibility issues.
The 133300-01 Bently Nevada Low Voltage DC Power Input Module may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond
End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

- Turbomachinery Protection Systems (TSI): Vital for protecting steam turbines, gas turbines, and heavy compressors from catastrophic failure.
- Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Plants: Installed in hazardous environments to power vibration, thrust, and speed monitoring chassis on large pumps and refining machinery.
- Power Generation Facilities: Used in nuclear, thermal, and hydroelectric plants to maintain the absolute power integrity of critical rotating asset protection systems.
- Heavy Manufacturing: Deployed in steel mills, mining operations, and paper plants to track the mechanical health of high-load machinery.
- Operating Temperature Range: Operates reliably in ambient conditions from -30°C to +65°C (-22°F to 149°F).
- Relative Humidity: Supports 95% non-condensing environments, protecting standard circuitry from moist plant atmospheres.
- Hazardous Area Certifications: Complies with global intrinsic safety standards, including CSA/NRTL/C (Class I, Division 2, Groups A through D) for explosive atmospheres.
- Redundancy & Hot-Swapping: The 3500 rack supports dual power supplies. If two are installed, the system can automatically switch between them, allowing for hot-swapping to replace a module without disrupting operation.
- Self-Diagnostics & Alerts: The module continuously monitors input voltage and reports faults (like voltage drops) to the Rack Interface Module (RIM) or Transient Data Interface (TDI), which then communicates this information to DCS/SCADA systems.
- Protection: It features a replaceable 01720045 fuse to prevent damage to the backplane from input spikes.
