Features:
- Translates six UCSx commands into firing control for as many as six bridge SCRs.
- Provides the H2 EBRG interface for thyristor systems of 77 mm or smaller.
- Brings gate control, bridge feedback and operating indications onto one board.
Each EX2100e power conversion module uses one IS200EBRGH2A in its bridge-control path.
An EDIS-fed dc-to-dc converter develops the power required by the SCR gate circuits.
Visual indicators separate firing, current, supply, filter, airflow, temperature and fault information.
The General Electric IS200EBRGH2A Bridge Interface Board is supported by Apter Power with quotation and technical assistance.

SCR Command Path
- Command Source: Six gate commands originate in the UCSx controller.
- Controlled Devices: IS200EBRGH2A fires up to six SCRs on the power bridge.
- Module Allocation: One bridge interface is installed for every PCM.
- Board Role: All bridge-control signals pass through the EBRG hardware.
Bridge Condition Signals
- Conduction State: The board receives current-conduction feedback from the bridge.
- Current Sensing: Rogowski-coil feedback enters through the EBRG interface.
- Analog Path: Bridge analog outputs are included in the signal set.
- Operating Inputs: Airflow and bridge-temperature signals are monitored on the interface.
Supply and Status
- Incoming Source: EDIS supplies nominal 125 V dc to IS200EBRGH2A.
- Gate Supply: An on-board dc-to-dc converter powers the firing circuits.
- Normal Indications: LEDs show output firing, bridge current and gate-power state.
- Condition Indications: Separate lights identify filter, airflow, temperature, alarm and fault states.
H2 Converter Arrangement
- Thyristor Class: H2 hardware is assigned to 77 mm or smaller devices.
- SCR Range: The EBRG design supports multiple SCR ratings within its group boundary.
- Converter Modes: EBRG hardware can serve simplex and warm-backup layouts.
- Parallel Layout: Parallel bridge converter architecture is also supported.
