Features:
- Produces peak and peak-reserve temperature-regulator bias.
- Raises each selected bias at a controlled rate.
- Supports optional two-channel overtemperature re-bias.
IC3600SPOA1 adds the generator-drive peaking option to the Mark II temperature-control structure rather than replacing the base temperature regulator.
The two output paths on IC3600SPOA1 can feed one STKK summing point, allowing the peak-reserve command to build on the peak setting when both are selected.
Separate adjustments on IC3600SPOA1 define the peak, reserve and optional protection-channel bias limits without merging their individual settings.
The General Electric IC3600SPOA1 Peaking Operation Card may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Peak and Reserve Paths
- Peak path: PK carries the primary peaking bias.
- Reserve path: PR supplies the additional peak-reserve bias.
- Combined output: PK and PR can share the STKK SJ connection.
- Rate behavior: Each commanded output increases progressively to its limit.
Mode Interaction
- Independent command: PR can rise regardless of the PK input state.
- Logic state: A logic 0 requests the reserve-bias increase.
- Additive mode: Peak and reserve biases sum when both commands are active.
- Reserve limit: R118 caps the PR contribution.
Protection-Channel Offsets
- Optional function: Peak reserve can shift overtemperature trip and alarm points.
- First channel: R115 sets one protection-channel bias.
- Second channel: R116 sets the other protection-channel bias.
- Adjustment span: Each protection offset covers 0°F to 100°F.
Generator-Drive Peaking
- System option: The card is used in the Mark II generator-drive arrangement.
- Control loop: Its outputs enter the temperature-regulator summing path.
- Peak command: The PK path raises the regulator bias above base.
- Reserve command: The PR path extends the bias above the selected peak level.
