Features:
- Measures line or motor voltage through separate direct and transformer-fed inputs.
- Transfers acquired values to SINAMICS control hardware over DRIVE-CLiQ.
- Supports grounded or isolated measurement through a removable reference jumper.
The VSM10 separates voltage acquisition from the drive controller while keeping the values inside the DRIVE-CLiQ architecture.
Its dual input paths let the installation match the source voltage to the appropriate connector instead of sharing one measuring range.
A dedicated sensor input adds motor-temperature information to the same compact rail-mounted assembly.
The Siemens 6SL3053-0AA00-3AA1 SINAMICS VSM10 Voltage Sensing Module is listed as an active product and may be available for purchase and support from Apter Power.

VSM10 Measurement Paths
- Direct input: X521 measures three-phase voltage directly at levels up to 690 V.
- Transformer input: X522 receives a reduced three-phase signal with a 100 V maximum.
- Reference jumper: The measurement circuit can be tied to ground or operated in isolation.
- Input loading: X521 exceeds 362 kΩ per phase, while X522 exceeds 2.5 MΩ per phase.
Data and Temperature Interface
- Drive link: DRIVE-CLiQ carries measured values into the connected SINAMICS system.
- Sensor families: The temperature channel accepts KTY84-130, Pt1000, or PTC devices.
- Signal conversion: The analog channel uses 12-bit resolution with sign information.
- Input impedance: The temperature analog input has approximately 100 kΩ internal resistance.
Rail and Supply Requirements
- Electronics feed: The module operates from a 24 VDC supply.
- Current demand: Maximum supply current is 0.2 A.
- Mechanical fit: Installation uses a TH 35 rail conforming to EN 60715.
- Protective earth: An M4 point provides the PE connection.
Supported Voltage-Sensing Tasks
- Motor voltage: The module acquires voltage from rotating synchronous motors.
- Line measurement: Three-phase supply voltage can be captured through the assigned input path.
- Flying restart: Voltage feedback supports quick flying restart of induction motors.
- Range selection: Direct and transformer-fed circuits address different source-voltage levels.
