Features:
- Runs LAN protocol tasks separately from drive-regulation processing.
- Bridges DLAN and local-terminal traffic into the SDCC data interface.
- Supports isolated or RS-422 branches with position-based termination.
Network placement gives
DS200SLCCG2A a defined boundary between field communication and the drive processor. The card interprets LAN traffic before presenting organized data to the controller.
Shared-memory access on
DS200SLCCG2A lets the LCP and DCP exchange information without combining their program spaces. This division preserves independent communication and regulation workloads.
Optional local hardware reaches
DS200SLCCG2A through dedicated connectors rather than the DLAN pair. The keypad and LAN Terminal Board therefore remain identifiable as separate service paths.
The General Electric DS200SLCCG2A LAN Communications Card may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Network Positioning
- Driver Mode: Jumpers select isolated DLAN or RS-422 operation.
- Termination: The physical end of a network segment requires the assigned termination.
- Group Scope: Group 2 includes DLAN configuration provisions.
- Separation: Network choices do not replace the independent keypad connection.
Processor Storage
- Program Pair: U6 and U7 contain the LCP operating program.
- Working RAM: U8 and U9 hold active processor data.
- Shared Buffer: U5 is dual-ported for LCP-to-DCP exchange.
- Processor: U1 executes the LAN communication workload.
Connector Roles
- 2PL: Carries power and data on the DCFB or SDCI side.
- 3PL: Provides the direct inter-card route to the SDCC.
- IOPL: Connects the optional LAN Terminal Board when fitted.
- Path Check: Each cable has a distinct role and destination.
Operator Interface
- KPPL: Links the keypad or programmer to the communication card.
- Display: Alphanumeric status supports local operating checks.
- Independence: Local access is separate from DLAN termination.
- Software Context: Displayed states reflect the installed LCP program set.
