Features:
- Two positive DC input paths are decoupled before reaching one load output.
- The module handles 12–48 V DC systems and up to 40 A output current.
- Spring terminals and TH35 rail mounting carry the high-current wiring arrangement.
Siemens 6EP4347-7RB00-0AX0 occupies the junction between two upstream SITOP supplies and a single protected DC load path.
Its internal voltage drop is approximately 0.6 V, so downstream voltage follows whichever input branch is delivering power.
Redundancy depends on two correctly separated source feeds; DC OUT1 is the common connection toward the load.
The Siemens 6EP4347-7RB00-0AX0 SITOP RED1200 40 A Redundancy Module may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Two-Input Redundancy Path
- First branch: The positive output of one supply terminates at DC IN1.
- Second branch: A separate supply positive terminates at DC IN2.
- Electrical separation: The internal decoupling stage prevents the two source positives from becoming one direct connection.
- Redundant result: Either available branch can continue feeding the common output path.
DC OUT1 Current Flow
- Output terminal: DC OUT1 is wired toward the downstream load.
- Voltage relation: Load voltage is approximately 0.6 V below the conducting input.
- Current ceiling: The common path carries up to 40 A across the documented input range.
- Temporary margin: A 120% current level is permitted from -40 to +45 °C.
High-Current Conductor Interface
- Terminal type: Spring-loaded clamps secure the two inputs and the output.
- Solid conductor: Solid wiring may range from 0.75 to 16 mm².
- Flexible conductor: Finely stranded wiring may range from 0.75 to 25 mm².
- Wiring boundary: Each source lead and the load lead retains its own terminal position.
Environmental Operating Limit
- Normal altitude: The standard operating data applies through 2000 m above sea level.
- Higher sites: Operation can extend to 6000 m with the documented derating.
- Current option: Output may be reduced by 7.5% for each additional 1000 m.
- Temperature option: The ambient limit may instead be lowered by 5 K for each additional 1000 m.
