Features:
- IS200EXTBG2A is the simplex Group 2 EXTB board.
- Relay 41 controls the main field contactor in this configuration.
- Opening feedback participates in the EDEX de-excitation sequence.
IS200EXTBG2A keeps one controller path in command of relay 41 rather than dividing that function among redundant channels.
Its 53A and 53B circuits give IS200EXTBG2A independent command and return paths for both flashing contactors.
After EDEX states are conditioned, IS200EXTBG2A forwards their logic through EBKP to EMIO.
For the General Electric IS200EXTBG2A Exciter Terminal Board, Apter Power provides product manuals, quotations, and EX2100 matching assistance.

Group 2 Structure
- Controller count: One controller path operates the terminal-board functions.
- Field device: The main field circuit is switched by a contactor.
- Close control: Relay 41 supplies the contactor-close command.
- Trip boundary: Group 2 has no relay 41T circuit.
De-excitation Trigger
- Normal state: Relay 41 maintains the commanded contactor condition.
- Opening event: The main field contactor changes its auxiliary-contact state.
- Command transfer: The auxiliary contacts take part in the EDEX command path.
- Result: EDEX begins the de-excitation process after the contactor opens.
Paired Branches
- First output: Relay 53A operates one field-flashing contactor.
- Second output: Relay 53B operates the other flashing contactor.
- Returned states: Separate inputs monitor the two auxiliary contacts.
- Input source: The feedback circuits are wetted at 70 V dc.
Controller Feedback
- Contact status: The 41, 53A, and 53B auxiliary inputs are conditioned on EXTB.
- Protection status: Crowbar and de-excitation indications arrive from EDEX.
- Board link: EBKP provides the interface between EXTB and EMIO.
- Destination: EMIO receives the conditioned logic states for the controller.
