Features:
- Eight current channels share one compact simplex output assembly.
- Measured loop current is returned independently for every output.
- One or two IONet paths can reach the PAOCH1B pack.
IS230SNAOH2A separates network processing in the I/O pack from customer wiring on the terminal board.
The output stage drives single-ended field loops while retaining channel-by-channel current observation.
Board identification and pack diagnostics distinguish a connected STAOH2A from incompatible terminal hardware.
The General Electric IS230SNAOH2A EX2100e Mark VIe Analog Output Module may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Signal Delivery
- Channel count: Eight single-ended field current outputs are provided.
- Signal span: Each channel operates over a 0–20 mA range.
- Load boundary: A PAOC-driven loop supports up to 900 Ω.
- Terminal access: Field circuits use the fixed 36-position block.
Current Observation
- Sense element: A 50 Ω resistor develops the feedback voltage.
- Conversion: A 16-bit ADC channel observes each output current.
- Channel scope: Feedback is separated for all eight loops.
- Pack handling: The PAOCH1B returns measured values to control logic.
Field Assembly
- Mounting: STAOH2A supports DIN-rail or flat mounting.
- Conductors: Typical field wiring is #18 AWG shielded twisted pair.
- Distance: The documented field run reaches up to 300 m.
- Chassis bond: SCOM points E1 and E2 connect to chassis ground.
Pack Supervision
- Hardware identity: The terminal-board ID is checked by the I/O pack.
- Output check: Commanded and measured current can be compared per channel.
- Power entry: Pack power includes soft-start and current limiting.
- Status display: LEDs report pack and network operating states.
