Overview Manuals Trip Signal Routing Connector Functions Relay Mapping Identification & Setup

Features:

  • IS210DTRTH1A links one or two VTUR boards with six DRLY relay circuits.
  • Three DC-37 connectors separate the two VTUR inputs from the DRLY output path.
  • Board-identification transfer supports hardware mismatch diagnostics.
IS210DTRTH1A divides the six DRLY circuits into two three-relay groups assigned to J1 and J2.

The TB1 grounding point on IS210DTRTH1A uses three short SCOM connections and no shield terminal strip.

No jumper or hardware-setting changes are required on IS210DTRTH1A.

The General Electric IS210DTRTH1A Mark VI Trip Transition Terminal Board is listed by Apter Power with product documentation and matching support.

From VTUR to DRLY

  • J1 path: The first VTUR board controls DRLY relay circuits one through three.
  • J2 path: A second VTUR board controls relay circuits four through six.
  • J3 path: The combined trip interface leaves the board for DRLY.
  • Fast trip use: DTRT remains in the circuit when only one VTUR is fitted.

Three DC-37 Interfaces

  • J1: First VTUR connection.
  • J2: Second VTUR connection and local ID path.
  • J3: Output connection to the DRLY relay board.
  • TB1: Three SCOM screws establish the ground connection.

Six Controlled Circuits

  • Relay group 1: Three DRLY circuits originate from the J1-side VTUR.
  • Relay group 2: Three more circuits originate from the J2-side VTUR.
  • Transition function: The board passes trip control without adding field relay outputs of its own.
  • Architecture: The interface is limited to simplex operation.

Hardware Recognition

  • DRLY identity: Identification information is transferred toward VTUR.
  • DTRT identity: The J2 path includes the transition-board ID device.
  • Diagnostic check: The controller can report an identification mismatch.
  • Configuration: No jumpers or hardware settings are provided.
Description
General Electric IS210DTRTH1A is a DIN-rail trip transition terminal board in the Mark VI control system. It forms the simplex interface between one or two VTUR turbine boards and a DRLY relay board so the turbine trip paths can operate six relay circuits.

Three DC-37 connectors define the signal route through IS210DTRTH1A. J1 receives the first VTUR connection, J2 accepts the second VTUR connection, and J3 carries the combined trip interface to DRLY; TB1 provides three SCOM grounding screws rather than a shield terminal strip.

The first three DRLY circuits are driven through IS210DTRTH1A by the VTUR connected at J1, while the second three circuits are assigned to the VTUR at J2. The transition board remains in the path for fast trip arrangements even when the system uses only one VTUR board.

Board identification also passes through IS210DTRTH1A. The assembly transfers DRLY identification to VTUR and includes its own ID device on the J2 path for mismatch diagnostics; it has no jumpers or hardware settings to configure.

FAQS

The following is a list of questions commonly asked by our customers. Please contact us if you have a question about our process that is not answered below.
Why is IS210DTRTH1A required when only one VTUR board is installed?
IS210DTRTH1A remains necessary because the fast trip path reaches the DRLY relay board through this transition interface, even with one VTUR connection.
Which connector on IS210DTRTH1A leads to the DRLY board?
J3 is the IS210DTRTH1A output connector to DRLY; J1 and J2 are the two VTUR-side connectors.
How are the six relay circuits divided across IS210DTRTH1A?
IS210DTRTH1A assigns the first three DRLY circuits to J1 and the remaining three circuits to the VTUR path at J2.
Where is grounding completed when IS210DTRTH1A has no shield strip?
Three TB1 SCOM screws provide the defined ground connection on IS210DTRTH1A; a separate shield terminal strip is not fitted.
What can cause an identification mismatch around IS210DTRTH1A?
IS210DTRTH1A transfers DRLY identification toward VTUR and uses its own J2-path ID device, so the connected board identities must agree with the configured hardware.
What should be verified before fastening IS210DTRTH1A on the DIN rail?
Verify the J1 and J2 VTUR assignments, the J3 route to DRLY, and the three SCOM connections on IS210DTRTH1A; there are no adjustable hardware settings.
