Features:
- Connects Mark V LM I/O cores and operator interfaces through ARCNET.
- Provides two BNC channels for external ARCNET cabling.
- Uses an APL plug to couple with the PANA LAN driver board.
DS200AAHAH1A separates the controller's external coaxial network connections from the PANA driver circuitry inside the Control Engine.
The two installed AAHA positions serve different communications paths: one supports the Stage Link, while the other carries the internal COREBUS link.
Network assignment comes from board placement and cable routing, so the correct AAHA position must be matched before the BNC and APL connections are restored.
The General Electric DS200AAHAH1A ARCNET Connection Board may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

ARCNET Paths
- Stage Link: One AAHA position connects the controller with operator-interface communications.
- COREBUS: A second AAHA position links the Control Engine with the I/O cores.
- Dual Channels: ARCBNC A and ARCBNC B provide the two coaxial ARCNET paths.
- Internal Coupling: The APL plug routes ARCNET signals to the PANA driver board.
Connector Layout
- ARCBNC A: BNC interface for one ARCNET communication channel.
- ARCBNC B: BNC interface for the second ARCNET communication channel.
- APL: Plug connection between AAHA and the appropriate PANA socket.
- 2PL: Power feed from the TCPS board to the AAHA assembly.
Board Integration
- AAHA1 Position: Pairs with the PANA APL connector for Stage Link traffic.
- AAHA2 Position: Pairs with the PANA BPL connector for COREBUS traffic.
- PANA Relationship: PANA provides the ARCNET driver circuitry used by both AAHA boards.
- Control Engine: The board arrangement places communications coupling within the Mark V LM Control Engine.
Configuration Limits
- No User Jumpers: AAHA has no field-adjustable hardware configuration.
- No Software Setup: The board does not require a separate software configuration entry.
- Position Dependent: Installed location determines whether the path is Stage Link or COREBUS.
- Cable Matching: APL/BPL routing and the required BNC network must agree with the controller layout.
