Features:
- Terminates 24 dry-contact channels on a fixed 52-position block.
- Connects one PDIA I/O pack to the Mark VIe Ethernet controller.
- Suppresses field-side surge and high-frequency input noise.
STCIH1A brings field contacts, excitation, grounding, and pack connectivity together on a compact simplex assembly.
The fixed terminal style suits installations where field wiring remains landed while the PDIA pack is handled at its D-type connector.
Input wiring is organized around a floating 24 V DC source, with shield and SCOM grounding kept on their designated chassis points.
The General Electric IS200STCIH1A Simplex Contact Input Terminal Board may be available for purchase and support from Apter Power.

H1A Field Connections
- Terminal style: A permanent 52-position block receives the contact wiring.
- Channel count: Twenty-four field contacts terminate on the assembly.
- Conductor size: Typical installation wiring uses #18 AWG conductors.
- Shield landing: Cable shields terminate on a separate bracket.
Floating Excitation Circuit
- Nominal source: The contact network is excited at 24 V DC.
- Allowed range: The floating supply operates from 18 to 32 V DC.
- SCOM bonding: E1 and E2 connect the circuit common to chassis.
- Field boundary: Excitation and returns remain organized at the terminal board.
Pack-to-Controller Path
- Pack connection: The PDIA plugs into the board through a D-type connector.
- Input conversion: The I/O pack digitizes the 24 contact states.
- Network path: Processed inputs travel from the PDIA to the controller over Ethernet.
- Architecture: One terminal board and one pack form a simplex input node.
Field Signal Conditioning
- Surge control: Input suppression limits transient energy at the contact channels.
- High-frequency filtering: The same network attenuates fast electrical noise.
- Ground discipline: Separate shield and SCOM bonds reduce shared return paths.
- Configuration: No jumper changes the suppression or channel behavior.
