Features:
- Creates a star-distribution point inside a SINAMICS DRIVE-CLiQ network.
- Adds five branch positions through the six X500–X505 sockets.
- Permits grouped nodes to be removed without stopping the continuing data path.
The DMC20 separates one incoming communication route into organized equipment branches on the cabinet rail.
Paired supply terminals keep 24 VDC available for loop-through wiring while connected nodes add to the hub current demand.
Visual states on the READY indicator give commissioning personnel a direct view of communication, fault, and firmware conditions.
The Siemens 6SL3055-0AA00-6AA1 SINAMICS DMC20 DRIVE-CLiQ Hub Module is listed as an active product and may be available for purchase and support from Apter Power.

Branching Rules
- Distribution form: One DRIVE-CLiQ line is divided in a star arrangement.
- Axis expansion: Five sockets are available for added node subgroups.
- Group isolation: A subgroup can be removed without interrupting the remaining line.
- Data continuity: Communication continues for nodes outside the disconnected branch.
X500–X505 and X524
- Data pairs: TXP/TXN and RXP/RXN carry transmit and receive signals.
- Node power: Each DRIVE-CLiQ socket includes 24 V and electronics ground.
- Supply input: X524 accepts 20.4–28.8 VDC for the hub electronics.
- Loop-through: The two positive and two M terminals are jumpered in the connector.
READY Indicator States
- Green steady: Cyclic DRIVE-CLiQ communication is active.
- Orange steady: The communication connection is being established.
- Red steady: At least one component fault is present.
- Flashing states: Firmware transfer, POWER ON waiting, or component recognition is active.
Mechanical and Shielding Boundaries
- Rail standard: The enclosure snaps onto an EN 60715 mounting rail.
- Air space: Maintain 50 mm clearance above and below the hub.
- Protective earth: Tighten the M4 housing connection to 1.8 Nm.
- Cable practice: Use shielded connections and remain within the stated cable lengths.
