Features:
- Three-phase voltage and current measurement through external PT and CT inputs
- Calculated active power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor, frequency, and energy
- Twice-per-second data updates over the Genius bus
IC660BPM100 combines transformer-referenced voltage and current inputs with onboard calculations for monitored electrical feeders.
The block supplies a compatible controller with routinely updated operating quantities and can also make additional power-quality, waveform, and event information available through directed requests.
Selection should account for the installed PT and CT ratios, circuit connection, auxiliary-current requirements, data mapping, and the block-power source used at the panel.
The General Electric IC660BPM100 Power Monitoring Block may remain available for quotation and legacy Genius-system support from Apter Power.

Electrical quantities
- Voltage data: Line-to-line and line-to-neutral RMS values are calculated from the configured potential-transformer inputs.
- Current data: Three line-current values and an auxiliary-current channel are available from the connected current transformers.
- Power values: Active, reactive, and apparent power are calculated with the configured power-flow and sign conventions.
- Power factor: Total power factor and related status data can be read by a compatible Genius controller or Hand-held Monitor.
Accumulated and extended values
- Energy accumulation: Watt-hour information is maintained for controller use in load and consumption tracking.
- Frequency: The monitored line frequency is available with additional calculated data.
- Harmonic information: Fundamental and harmonic reactive-power relationships are available through the extended-data functions.
- Event capture: Waveform and overcurrent tables can be requested when the application needs information beyond routine cyclic values.
Scaling and data setup
- Transformer ratios: PT, CT, and optional neutral-current ratios establish primary-system scaling.
- Circuit arrangement: The number and connection of voltage and current transformers must match the monitored feeder.
- Display units: Power display units and reactive-power sign conventions are selectable for the host application.
- Data transfer: Routine values are exchanged automatically, while extended tables are obtained with Genius datagrams.
Panel and field connections
- Enclosure: Mount the block in a protective enclosure that satisfies the documented environmental and safety requirements.
- Transformer wiring: Follow the specified PT and CT polarity, grounding, and secondary-circuit practices.
- Bus connection: Apply the Genius serial-bus topology and termination rules for the block position.
- Control power: Confirm the selected 115/230 VAC or 125 VDC supply and the 35 VA maximum block requirement.
