Dubai Customer Verifies GE Turbine-Control Cards
Before supplying a local power station, a Dubai-based customer visited Apter Power to verify the supplier, model identity and visible condition of every GE card presented.
The customer supports power-generation projects in Dubai. Its team wanted to see the cards, packaging and records in person before progressing with the vendor.
What was reviewed
Apter Power staged the supplied items for a joint label, packaging and visible-condition review. Each finding was tied to the relevant customer BOM line.
Other GE models and quantities remain confidential and are not inferred from photographs.

Confirm BOM, revision and evidence requirements.
Match the complete model and available identifiers.
Review PCB surfaces, connectors, parts and packaging.
Index photos, findings and disposition by BOM line.
Documented confidence
All presented GE cards were checked against the agreed list.
Model, revision, packaging and visible condition were recorded.
Photo-supported notes were prepared for the vendor review.
Plant identity, quantities and commercial details stay private.
Read the full model
For turbine-control hardware, the suffix, revision and installed-system context can matter as much as the product family.
Model identification
- Record the full part number and suffix.
- Compare card and carton labels.
- Capture revision, serial and assembly identifiers.
- Check faceplate, connector and PCB layout.
Selection cautions
- Confirm platform and rack position.
- Do not assume suffixes are interchangeable.
- Review firmware or configuration dependencies.
- Match power, I/O and connector requirements.
Maintenance guide
- Use ESD-safe handling and packaging.
- Store clean, dry and protected.
- Log installation and removal history.
- Follow the approved OEM or site procedure.
Documentary and visual verification are kept separate from powered functional testing, which requires an agreed scope and the correct fixture.
